Abstract

Water erosion is one of the serious problems in the field of environment, which has attracted a lot of attention due to its negative effects on soil, water resources and ecological systems. In this article, the types of water erosion and solutions to deal with it have been reviewed. In the first part of the article, the definition and identification of types of water erosion have been discussed. In addition, effective factors in each type of erosion such as excessive rain, water flow intensity, wind intensity have also been taken into consideration. In the second part, solutions to deal with water erosion have been reviewed. These solutions include changing agricultural methods, water resource management, new technologies and soil amendments. For example, farmers can minimize water erosion by using soil conservation practices such as no-till and crop rotation. Also, organizing water resources and optimal use of water at the level of cities and rural areas has an effective role in controlling water erosion. According to this article, water erosion is one of the most serious challenges in the field of natural resources and environment, and being responsive to it requires everyone's efforts. By implementing appropriate solutions, we can take steps to reduce water erosion and preserve natural resources.
